Pygmalion Effect !!


Basically the pygmalion effect, refers to the phenomenon in which the greater the expectation placed upon people, often employees or students and children, the better they perform. its really interesting that said that the people with poor expectations internalize their negative label, and those with positive labels have better results in life.

I have always considered really important to check up, how positive is my attitude and my thoughts, because i believe in whats common known as the "law of attraction" and also in this Pygmalion phenomenon.

The majority of the persons, for example are always complaining about the things and making negative thoughts all the time, at the same time they don't have clear what they expect, that's way they don't get the work they wanted, or the relationship even the health, and consciously or unconsciously the effect works !!

CULTURES in a Business Globalised WORLD !!


we are entering on a new period, 2010-2020 in which i consider some important topics that will have more impact for the cultures in the world. like the technology, communications,climate and environment, and others, I really enjoyed the conference "Dealing with Cultural differences" by Nick Meyer, culture is learned, not inherited, and for business relations the cultural issues are really important.

The conference told us about the importance of having well prepare managers, persons whit cultural-skills and really good management of the communication, because the cultural effect can tell what one of the parts is needing and how he wanted, and the other party, how cold it satisfied the client.

We are part of the next workers in the global commercial environment, knowledge of the impact of the cultural differences is one of the keys to international business success. Improving levels of cultural information can help companies build international competencies and try to orientate the company workers to be more globally sensitive !!
